The piece

A stepped tower rises out of a hexagonal plate, flanked by smaller blocks that fall away in tiers. It borrows from the machine age, when buildings were drawn like jewelry and jewelry was drawn like buildings.

The relief is deep enough to throw real shadow, so the piece changes through the day. Bright and flat at noon, almost carved from shadow at night.

Materials and care
  • Solid sterling silver .925, never plated or hollow
  • High polish relief, brushed plate
  • Polish the high points with a soft cloth. Leave the dark recesses alone, they are part of the design.
  • Store in the pouch it ships in to slow tarnish.
Shipping and returns

Sterling ships in 3 to 5 business days, insured and tracked. Vermeil is made to order in 10 to 14 days. Unworn pieces can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Commissions and engraved pieces are final.

Your edition card

Every piece ships with a black card showing its form, metal and number, signed by Andrew. Keep it. It is how a numbered piece proves what it is if you ever pass it on.

FORM_003 :: original drawing
✦Behind the form

It starts as a drawing.

Before any metal is touched, the deco tower pendant existed as lines on paper: a few measurements, a center point, and a rule about how light should hit it. The drawing decides the proportions. The hand decides everything else.

That is why the edition is small. Carving the master takes days, and the finishing on every cast piece is done by hand, one at a time, so the numbers stay honest.
