The piece

An elongated hexagon with a heavy raised rim and a field of tiny stepped pyramids pressed into the center. From across a room it reads as one clean shape. Up close it becomes texture, hundreds of points each catching its own light.

It is the most wearable piece in the chapter. Slim enough to sit under a collar, heavy enough that you always know it is there.

Materials and care
  • Solid sterling silver .925, never plated or hollow
  • Polished rim, satin pyramid field
  • Polish the high points with a soft cloth. Leave the dark recesses alone, they are part of the design.
  • Store in the pouch it ships in to slow tarnish.
Shipping and returns

Sterling ships in 3 to 5 business days, insured and tracked. Vermeil is made to order in 10 to 14 days. Unworn pieces can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Commissions and engraved pieces are final.

Your edition card

Every piece ships with a black card showing its form, metal and number, signed by Andrew. Keep it. It is how a numbered piece proves what it is if you ever pass it on.

FORM_002 :: original drawing
✦Behind the form

It starts as a drawing.

Before any metal is touched, the hex tag pendant existed as lines on paper: a few measurements, a center point, and a rule about how light should hit it. The drawing decides the proportions. The hand decides everything else.

That is why the edition is small. Carving the master takes days, and the finishing on every cast piece is done by hand, one at a time, so the numbers stay honest.
