Home::Origin lore

A brief existential manifesto of love.

Before there was a piece, there was this. Andrew wrote it to explain what the work is for. Everything Giomonte makes answers to it.

I :: Figments

We are, as individuals, fleeting figments captured in time, of a grander fractal of consciousness, material, space, and time.

II :: Consensus

We collectively agree that the universe is the way that it is, because it serves us well and it works for us, by necessity. Our perception creates the universe we’re experiencing, writing the stories as we go, world building.

III :: Timelines

Life is learning and creating. Every individual experiences a unique timeline and universe, and explores this world we, the collective conscious, have come to a consensus exists as we see fit.

IV :: Relatives

Everything, everyone, everywhere, and every timeline is relative. We are all relatives. If you happen to exist in this unique universe of mine, I hope you will enjoy this figment of the fractal I’ve created for you.

V :: Singularity

We are all together in the singularity. We love you. I love you.

VI :: The maker

One person, one bench.

Giomonte is Andrew Montez. He draws every form, carves every master and finishes every piece himself. There is no factory behind the name and no catalog of stock designs, only the forms in the current chapter and the commissions on the bench.

The work sits between modern luxury and something older and darker: art deco precision, gothic weight, a little cyberpunk, and the geometry people have been carving into metal and stone for thousands of years.

VII :: House rules

Made by hand, or not at all

No mass production and no outsourced finishing. If a step cannot be done properly by hand, the piece waits until it can.

Every piece is numbered

Editions are fixed before the first cast. Your number is stamped on the bail and recorded, so a Giomonte piece can always prove what it is.

Closed means closed

When an edition sells out, the master is retired in that metal. Scarcity here is a rule, not a marketing trick.

Solid metal, real weight

Sterling and gold, never plated base metal, never hollow backed. You should feel it the moment it is in your hand.

VIII :: Color

Black at the core, one signature color cut through it, and gold where something should catch your eye.

⬡The language

Where the shapes come from.

01 ::

Art deco

Stepped geometry, perfect symmetry and the confidence of the machine age, when skyscrapers were drawn like jewelry.

02 ::

Cyberpunk

Hard edges, dense texture and a future that already feels lived in. Precision that looks engineered, not decorated.

03 ::

Gothic

Weight, shadow and a little darkness worn well. Pieces that look as right with black leather as with a black suit.

04 ::

Sacred geometry

Forms older than writing, triangles, hexagons and circles, recut for now. The same shapes keep coming back for a reason.

⬡Commission

Add your shape to the fractal.

Commissions are how the universe of Giomonte grows. Bring a symbol that means something to you.
